The restless spirit of the festival is meant to make a creative tumult in Gdańsk's cultural offer.
Inspired by international, spectacular visual arts festivals, Interference Festival aims to select the leading artists of short visual forms. Ultimately, it's the first meeting of artists and producers of short visual forms with such a broad range, being also an overview of the newest and most interesting trends in one-reel films - starting with video clips, through commercials, jingles, video art, experimental forms and Internet art. The festival is characterized by innovative open formula and uses the latest wireless technologies [Wi-Fi, GSM 3G/4G] and also Internet distribution channels [e-TV, Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook]. Competition and out-of-competition presentations are going to be enriched by workshops, discussions and concerts.
